Cabernet Merlot
The once popular Cabernet Sauvignon is in decline while blends, particularly with Merlot, are on the rise. Merlot helps to soften the strongly tannin Cabernet. It also masks a cabernet Sauvignon's often overtly herbal flavours while at the same time adding complexitiy to the finished wine.
